VIDEOGRAPHY

VIDEO EDITING

I work across a mix of video editing projects, taking on a variety of styles and briefs. I’ve created content for a range of clients, from filming and editing inside factories to putting together cocktail videos that are a bit more fun and visual. I like having the variety, as it keeps things creative and pushes me to adapt how I tell each story.

I mainly use CapCut for my editing, but I’ve also worked with Camtasia, so I’m more comfortable switching between tools depending on what a project needs. I’ve edited everything from short, attention-grabbing social media clips to website hero videos, as well as longer YouTube content over 20 minutes where pacing and structure are really important.

When I’m working on a video, I focus on making sure it feels right for the client and the platform it’s going on. Whether it’s something quick and punchy or a longer, more detailed piece, I aim to keep it clear, engaging, and visually strong without overcomplicating it.

Generally, I just enjoy the process of taking raw footage and turning it into something that looks polished and tells a story properly. After working with clients, I’ve also helped contribute to growth on their social platforms, with an increase of over 100,000 views within a single month.

FILMING

I take on a range of filming projects, working across different environments and styles depending on what each client needs. I’ve spent time out on building sites capturing footage first-hand, using a gimbal and camera to keep shots steady and professional, as well as using a drone to get higher angles and a wider view of the space. I enjoy being on location and adapting to different surroundings, whether it’s something more industrial or a fast-paced setting.

Before filming, I work closely with clients to plan what needs to be captured and when, making sure everything runs smoothly on the day. This includes organising shot lists, understanding key moments, and making sure the final footage lines up with the goals. I’ve filmed in a range of places including construction sites, factories, events, and even bars, each with its own pace and challenges.

When I’m out filming, I aim to focus on capturing clean, usable footage that tells a clear story and works well in the edit. Whether it’s detailed close-ups or wider establishing shots, I aim to create a good balance so that the final video feels natural and well put together.

Overall I enjoy capturing footage that can later be shaped into something engaging and purposeful.

SELECTED STILLS

These selected stills have been taken from a range of videos that I’ve filmed and edited myself across different projects and locations. Each image represents a moment from a wider story, highlighting the variety of work I’ve been involved in and the different styles of content I’ve created. Whether filming using a drone for sweeping aerial shots or a gimbal for smooth ground-level moments, every frame has been captured with the final result in mind.

When I’m out on a shoot, I like to take a hands-on approach, planning shots in advance whilst also adapting to what’s happening on the day. This often involves directing people and guiding scenes to make sure I capture the right moments at the right time. Some shoots require a focus on the finer details, such as filming at Grantley Hall, where capturing the atmosphere, luxury and small touches were key to telling the story. Others have been much more fast-paced, such as the FB Fashion Ball, where the challenge was documenting the energy of the entire evening through a variety of shots.

Although these are individual frames, they represent the wider process behind each project. Every still reflects the planning, filming and editing that went into creating the finished piece.
